The demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has left us all heartbroken. The actor reportedly hanged himself in his Mumbai flat. In an interview, his Pavitra Rishta co-star Parag Tyagi opened up on the demise of the Chhichhore actor.
Parag Tyagi has revealed that Pavitra Rishta’s entire cast is distraught and in denial. “Aai (Usha Nadkarni) can’t stop crying.
Manju Shah (Swati Anand) is shaken after hearing the news. All the actors of Pavitra Rishta were talking and everybody asks why? We talked to Ankita (Lokhande) and she’s shocked and everybody is speechless about how this happened. She has been saddened and can’t believe the news. She played opposite Sushant in Pavitra Rishta. They were also in courtship for 6 years and parted ways after they came to a disagreement on starting a family. All was fine, Chichore was a success, Bechara was coming up with his new movie, which looked amazing. “I watched the Bechara teaser yesterday. He’s been really good, ” Parag told the press.
“It’s really hard to believe. He was such a beautiful person. He was a happy man; how could he do such a thing. We met each other on and off at parties. He seemed perfect. He seemed so full of energy every time we met. I just felt so good after seeing him. We ‘d remember all the old memories from the Pavitra Rishta sets,” Parag went on to say.
He was a bright soul and a happy-go-lucky guy. He was a very passionate and hardworking person. He wouldn’t go home for 15-20 days when they were working on Pavitra Rishta. He had slept on the sets.
As a lead actor, he would spend more hours shooting, but he never complained. He would sleep for 2-3 hours on the sets during the break. He would say to everyone, “I can’t take off this is my time yaar.” He was concentrated, passionate, and hardworking. He’s been very specific about his work.
Sushant’s demise has left a big void in the Indian cinema. A talent like him is rare. May his soul rest in peace and deep condolences to the grieving family.
