The first song of the late actor’s final movie Dil Bechara was released recently. The film marks the Bollywood debut of heroine Sanjana Sanghi as well.
It was heart-wrenching for the industry to have heard about Sushanth Singh Rajput, who committed suicide last month. He was said to have been suffering from chronic depression, which ultimately made him take a huge step.
However, it fills our hearts to watch a happy Sushath, sharing his electric smile while dancing in this song. The spotlight follows him as he slides in sports jersey, sneakers and sweatpants. Adding to the anticipation, the music is still being kept a secret as we can only hear a few quiet beats in the teaser. However, the film’s trailer ended with the song that was sung by AR Rahman. The lyrics went: ‘Dil Bechara, friendzone ka maara’.
Dil Bechara is a romantic drama film that marks the directorial debut of Mukesh Chhabra. It is based on John Green’s 2012 novel The Fault in Our Stars, bankrolled by Fox Star Productions and stars Sushanth Singh Rajput, Saif Ali Khan and debutante Sanjana Sanghi. Its Filming commenced on 9 July 2018 in Jamshedpur. The film’s release had been postponed multiple times, due to post-production delays and the COVID-19 pandemic in India. It will, however, release on 24 July 2020 on Disney+ Hotstar.
Disney+ Hotstar tweeted, “Here’s a glimpse of the liveliness that Manny brought and left Kizie in awe. Bringing the magic of the maestro, A.R. Rahman, to you. #DilBecharaTitleTrack out tomorrow, 12 noon. #SushantSinghRajput @sanjanasanghi96 @swastika24
